A probable descendent of geek chic, the bookish chic style has caught our eye for a while now and it’s finally time to meet the challenge. As a contrast to the rather organised and well-learned nature that comes with the bookish chic style, we’ve decided to head to the thickets Centennial Park for our shoot.
Wilderness versus the intellectuals. Our set designer had the great idea of using purple against the golden backdrop of the thickets to make the colours really pop. Stick a cute little windmill into the pages of books, and you’ve got yourself an interesting little set.
You can’t be bookish without books. That’s why we’ve made the effort to turn our wedding cake into one. With a globe on the top and an antique suitcase at the bottom to add just a bit more touch of bookishness. And they are all, can you believe it, made out of icing.
