Love comes in many ways. Sometimes it comes knocking on your door, sometimes you have to put in a little effort to look for it but it doesn’t make it any less beautiful.
Dennis and Mandy met at a speed dating event, and as our celebrant Robyn puts it, they were “so speedy, they found each other before the clock started.” For him, it was love at first sight and for her, it was the start of her fairytale-like story.
Two and half years later, there they were hand in hand, at their beautiful garden ceremony at the Oatlands House, ready to recite their vows to each other.
“Mandy, you are my best friend and equal partner, Mandy I give you this golden band to signify that I have chosen you over any other…” – Dennis
Love is more than passion and affection, love is a promise. We just can’t help but swoon over Dennis’s speech, “I can’t promise you our life will be smooth sailing, but I can promise you we’ll work through anything together as a team.”
The day of your wedding can be hectic, but there are certain things you can do to help move things along. For example, Dennis and Mandy have chosen to have both tea ceremonies at the reception in the Phoenix Parramatta restaurant. That smart decision earned them a few more moments to relax and a bit more makeup time with the make up artistry from Amy Chan Makeup Artistry. 🙂
We have never met two more kinder and gentler souls so suitable for each other. We just loved being a part of their special day.
