This is a wedding full of truly heartfelt moments, smiles, tears and joy from the joining of two families. Effie is Greek and George is Lebanese, and the amalgamation of these two wonderful cultures makes for an entertaining wedding full of music and dancing.
After getting ready at home, the bridal party take separate classic cars to the church. The bride travels with her father in an open top classic convertible, taking in the sunshine on this perfect day. Stepping into St Peters Chanel Catholic Church, the father of the bride says he will never forget the moment he and his daughter shared before he walked her down the aisle. I doubt Effie will forget it either.
George and Effie, even though they live in Canberra, were married in Sydney so all their families could attend. The reception is a glorious event with a fabulous black cake topped with cute big head figurines of incredible likeness of the couple. There was a huge dance floor, gorgeous white flower arrangements in the table candelabras and top notch speeches which came from the heart, and put a tear ain everyone’s eyes.
“I cannot wait for us to spend the rest of our lives together and have an amazing family,” George says to his new bride.
And this is where it begins.
