Most Sydney weddings have the Sydney opera house in its background, but Theresa and Chris decided to have their wedding ceremony in it instead. In the Utzon room at the Sydney opera house, the two said their vows and became husband and wife in the presence of all their loved ones in a ceremony beautifully presented by Robyn Pattison.
Chris and Terry’s story began way back almost a decade ago at their year 11 social. Wearing a pair of green chuck taylors with her dress, a rather hyper Terry caught Chris’s eye and a simple question would soon make their acquaintance. “Are you on acid?” Chuck asked. “No”, Terry replied simply.
Nothing happened between the two but of course fate has a funny way of bringing people together. More than a year later, the two met at a mutual friend’s party where Chris recognised her. This time, cupid turned its arrow on Terry. Our couple has shared so much together in their journey together, enough for Terry to fill a journal with their photographs and entries about their time together. She gave this journal in place of a letter before their ceremony, it was definitely one of the highlights of their wedding day.
After a wedding shoot in the city with the photographers from T-One Image, it was time to move on to their reception. At the Ivy Sunroom, Terry and Chris made their way onto the dance floor and had their first dance as husband and wife, making up for the missed dance at their year 11 social.
